What is the GPSR?
The EU General Product Safety Regulation. Since 13 December 2024 it requires products sold to EU consumers to carry clear safety information, including who is responsible for the product in the EU.
Do I need this if I sell to the EU?
If you sell physical products to consumers in the EU or Northern Ireland, you are expected to show this safety information. GPSR Safety Sync puts it on every product page for you.
Will it match my theme?
Yes. The safety panel is a theme app block you add in the theme editor. It inherits your theme's fonts and colors, and only appears once a product's details are complete.
Is my data safe?
The app stores no shopper data. It holds your account details from Shopify and the safety contacts you type in, and it deletes your data when you uninstall.
How much does it cost?
